Events Description
Welcome to the world of girlhood, where we honour and celebrate our upbringings and heal our inner girls. The Girlhood Project is a magazine that gives space for adults and youth to share, reclaim and celebrate their femininity and girlhood regardless of age, race, religion, sexuality and identity. It features poetry, prose, non-fiction storytelling, and artwork from writers and artists ready to celebrate with you with a tea party! Free food, drinks and live entertainment are provided!
All of our proceeds gathered from issue one are donated to The Lady Ballers Centre in Brampton, a response to evidently increasing need for affordable recreational programming for female children and youth in low-income, predominantly marginalized GTA neighbourhoods. Supporting us means supporting women everywhere! If you’d like more info, check out their website at www.ladyballerscamp.org
