Celebrate Asian culture at one of Toronto’s most vibrant street festivals! With varying vendors, live cultural performances, lion dances, martial arts, family activities, and delicious Asian street food, the Toronto Chinatown Festival is an exciting weekend for all ages.

Features & Attractions

  • Dragon Dance & Lion Dance: Lion dance brings good fortune and prosperity to the community. The Toronto Chinatown Festival will feature lion dance as part of the Opening Ceremony.
  • Cultural Performances: A mix of traditional and modern Asian dance groups, bands, musicians, and other artists are invited to perform during the festival. Not only will the performances be a feast to the eye, but they will also prove to be culturally educational.
  • Multi-Cultural Street Food: There will be multicultural street food vendors selling treats from all over Asia. These authentic street snacks are a taste into all the different cultures that the Toronto Chinatown Festival has to offer.
  • Chinatown Festival Mural Walking Tour: Join the Mural Walking Tour at the 25th Toronto Chinatown Festival and discover breathtaking murals inspired by the four great Classical Chinese Novels: Dream of the Red Chamber, Outlaws of the Marsh, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and Journey to the West. Led by renowned Chinese culinary and culture expert Professor Leo Chan, this free walking tour offers a rich dive into Chinese arts, history, and storytelling.
  • Saturday Night Special Guest: Alice Lau 劉雅麗 – Hong Kong stage and screen icon, Alice Lau is an award-winning actress and singer known for her soulful voice and breakout role in I Have a Date with Spring. We’re thrilled to welcome her to the main stage!
