Toronto
Events Description
In light of the upheaval that surrounded “Russians at War” being screened at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, the Toronto Ukrainian Film Festival (TUFF) is hosting a special screening of La Palisiada, an award-winning Ukrainian film. La Palisada is a very powerful, dark and beautifully made film that is headed to this year’s Oscars. It touches on the topic of propaganda and how it veils itself. Guests are invited to stay after the film for a related open-panel discussion, hosted by St.Volodymyr Institute.
