Events Description
Halton Community and Cultural Association (HCCA) invites you to join for ” Uttarayan” (KITE FLYING) event at Burlington.
India celebrates 2000 festivals every year! Among these, the festival of Uttarayan is one of the grandest and stands tall. In Gujarat, Uttarayan is a holiday where every family can meet outdoors. People of all ages fly kites from dawn to dusk. Crowded rooftops, fun-loving rivalry to outdo each other in kite-flying skills, and delicious Indian street foods are the hallmarks of the day.
