Vancouver
Events Description
Having carved out a unique, indefinable presence in the hyperpop scene, Alice Longyu Gao performs at Fortune Sound on May 24th, 2025.
Alice Longyu Gao’s Assembling Symbols Into My Own Poetry (Oct 23, 2024) is a raw, genre-defying exploration of vulnerability and self-expression. The final chapter of her debut trilogy blends chaotic hyperpop with moments of introspection, confronting personal trauma and emotional clarity. Tracks like “Little Piggy” and “Bird W/O Nest” channel humor, rage, and catharsis, offering a multifaceted, explosive reflection of the human experience.
