Events Description
Dear Growers, Farmers, Packers, Processors, Buyers, and Industry Partners,
Over the past couple of years, our highbush blueberry industry has faced significant challenges — from shifting markets and rising input costs to missing or unclear information that makes farm planning even harder. The BC Blueberry Council understands the pressure this puts on our growers and the entire value chain.
To support our community, strengthen communication, and provide clarity for the year ahead, the BC Blueberry Council is hosting three in-person Townhall Meetings this December across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
These meetings will:
1.Provide clear updates on Council initiatives
2.Share market insights and upcoming opportunities in Canada and abroad
3.Improve transparency and two-way communication
4.Support farm-level decision-making
5.Address your concerns directly
6.Reinforce stability across our highbush blueberry industry
We encourage all growers, farmers, packers, processors, buyers, and industry partners to attend.
All attendees will enjoy snacks, refreshments, and meaningful conversations with the BC Blueberry Council team.
Your voice matters — together, we can strengthen the future of BC’s highbush blueberry industry.
