Inlet Spring Regatta

The Inlet Spring Regatta is an annual dragon boat race event held in April on Burrard Inlet in the City of Port Moody at Rocky Point Park. It features 200m races in BUK boats and attracts teams from throughout BC. Inlet Regatta is the first dragon boat event of the season and features live music, yoga, a DJ, food trucks, vendors and a beer garden sponsored by Yellow Dog Brewing.

7:30 a.m. Team manager and steer’s meeting by the gazebo in the marshaling area

8:00 a.m. Opening Ceremony at the water’s edge (all welcome)

8:30 a.m. Races begin! – View our Race Grid (coming soon)

9:00 a.m. Wellness Area opens for free massage (for paddlers only) with Enhance Sport & Wellness

11:00 a.m. Yellow Dog Beer Garden sponsored by Rotary Club of Port Moody opens until 4:30 p.m.

2:00 p.m. Rolling Awards Ceremony (could vary due to race completion times) – woodals for teams in 1st, 2nd & 3rd presented immediately after each final race.

3:00 p.m. 50/50 Cash Draw – Paddlers Helping People: In support of the SHARE Family & Community Services Society

4:30 p.m. Last Call in the Yellow Dog Beer Garden sponsored by Rotary Club of Port Moody

5:30 p.m. Site close
