Events Description
The 19th Annual Maple Ridge Caribbean Festival will heighten all your senses with many Caribbean flavours, right here in your own “backyard” at the Fairgrounds.
On our stages, our musicians will entertain you with sights and sounds of steel drums, reggae beats, and more. In all the festival will feature 2 large stages with continuous music provided by 16 live bands from Toronto and the Lower Mainland’s Caribbean community, featuring Reggae, Calypso, Salsa and Soca music and much more From food vendors who will serve everything from Jamaican jerk chicken to curried goat, to Caribe beer in the beer garden (and more), your taste buds will take you on a tropical journey.
Highlights
This year’s concert lineup promises to be another stellar event of the lower mainland’s music festival circuit featuring “A Tribute to 60 Years of Motown” by The Hitsville USA Band, certainly a festival high-lite for Maple Ridge.
Daily Entertainment: true Caribbean tones with Soca, reggae, ska, Cuban salsa, steel drums, etc.
Food: various vendors – jerk chicken, curried goat, all authentic Caribbean flavours
