Oval Community Day

Oval Community Day returns to the Richmond Olympic Oval on Sunday, August 9, 2026 for a free outdoor family festival celebrating sport, play, and community. Presented by Go Auto, this annual event invites families from Richmond and across the Lower Mainland to get active, try something new, and enjoy a fun summer day together.

Last year, more than 7,500 guests joined the celebration. This year’s event features family favourites including giant inflatable obstacle courses, live performances, sport try-its, Olympic medal and podium photo opportunities, and interactive games. New for 2026, families can also enjoy the Oval Fitness Challenge Area, activations from Foosball Canada and Hockey Canada, face painting, and caricature artists. Admission and event activities are free, food will be available for purchase, and all ages are welcome.
