Events Description
A contemplative and radiant winter offering, Pacem explores peace, stillness, and the quiet strength of community. Anchored by Arvo Pärt’s luminous Magnificat and Tavener’s haunting Svyati with solo cello, the program also features a world premiere by Leslee Heys, and a vibrant mix of traditional and contemporary carols. The second half turns up the sparkle with an a cappella pop set and culminates in our traditional singing of Silent Night together with any and all alumni who are able to join us. Join us for a deeply moving musical journey, blending tradition with innovation, in our exploration of Pacem.
We are proud to partner with the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre (DEWC) for our December 9, 2025 concerts. DEWC provides a safe, supportive space for self-identifying women (cis, trans, 2S) in the Downtown Eastside, offering meals, counseling, advocacy, and programs that empower.
