Public Disco Pride Block Party

Public Disco’s Pride Block Party is back in Mount Pleasant. Art-filled laneways, steel-framed canopies, and dance floors packed with friends. Part of Vancouver Pride 2026. The event is curated by Jesse Walker and DJ dood, bringing together fresh talent and seasoned selectors across disco, house, and techno. The new Street Stage features local crew TeXture, spotlighting Vancouver’s queer underground sounds. Together, they make for one of Vancouver’s most distinct Pride celebrations.

The programming moves through disco, house, and techno across both stages, genre-fluid, heart-forward, and deeply rooted in the Black, queer, and trans origins of this music. A food market and multiple murals round out the site. This event has sold out two years running, and $2 from every ticket supports the Vancouver Pride Society’s Bursary Program.
