River Basin Days: Pollinator Investigators

River Basin Days is a series of outdoor public programs for families. Join us at different locations around the Fraser River Basin as we explore this incredible watershed! Our staff will guide you through one hour of activities, experiments, and art projects as we learn about the biodiversity of this great river.

This month we are headed to Bear Creek Park located in Surrey to explore the wonderful world of pollinators and flowering plants! We’ll learn about the challenges pollinators face, how you can help pollinators thrive, and the basics of planting a pollinator garden!

This program is free of charge as part of Surrey’s Environmental Extravaganza and in collaboration with NatureKidsBC.
