See Bob Run

See Bob laugh. See Bob scream. See Bob fight. See Bob dance.

See Bob Run is a one-woman play about love. And fear. And hitchhiking. Oh yeah, lots of hitchhiking. In Daniel MacIvor’s seminal debut, Bob is on the road, fleeing a tattered past towards an uncertain sanctuary. Hopping from car to car, spinning stories – Some funny, Some don’t add up, blurring truth and fiction with every ride. She is fighting to find her feet against the ground again—singing for a better future, wishing to reach the water.

Nearly 40 years later, this haunting journey remains at the heartbeat of the love involved in loneliness: a young woman’s urgent, visceral reckoning with her history.
