Events Description

Experience two days of free live entertainment, including local performers, as well as nationally and internationally recognized talent.

Surrey Fusion Festival returns to Holland Park on July 18 and 19, with the theme “One World, One Game,” celebrating global cultures and inspired by the excitement building around the world’s largest sporting event coming to the region. Presented by Coast Capital, the free event will feature more than 50 cultural pavilions showcasing food, music and traditions from around the world.

This year’s headlining performances include Canadian rock band 54•40, known for “I Go Blind” and their induction into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, and Punjabi pop artist Kulwinder Billa, known for hits including “Tich Button” and “Pagal.” Also featured on the lineup are Fionn, a twin-sister duo with a No. 1 single on Canadian Alternative Radio and the Billboard Canada charts, and The Folk Turbanators, a Punjabi-Canadian group known for their high-energy performances.

  • With over 50 cultural pavilions, representing countries from six continents, the festival serves up an unforgettable experience of authentic food, rich heritage, and community pride. Whether you’re sampling spicy street eats or sweet traditional desserts, it’s a culinary passport you’ll want stamped again and again.
  • Live performances across 8 stages: Holland Park will come alive with the vibrant sounds of global rhythms across eight distinctive stages: the Concord Pacific World Music Stage, Celebration Stage, Cultural Cooking Arena, Siam Stage, Community Dance Stage, 604Now Local Stage, Family Stage, and Connect Stage.
  • Explore Indigenous Culture in the Indigenous Village: Take a walk through the Indigenous Village, where you’ll find powerful performances at the Siam Stage—meaning “Respected Ones” in Coast Salish languages. Enjoy traditional and contemporary Indigenous music and dance, while shopping the Indigenous Marketplace to support local artisans and small businesses.
  • Chill out at the 604Now Beer Garden: Relax, mingle, and enjoy the sunshine at the 604Now Beer Garden! Choose from a great variety of beers, wines, ciders, and coolers as you kick back and soak in the lively festival atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for that laid-back summer feel.
  • Fun Zone: Experience non-stop excitement with a variety of inflatables and timeless midway games. Whether you’re after a thrill or just some lighthearted fun, there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained.
  • Family Zone: The Family Zone is full of free interactive activities, crafts by Downtown Surrey BIA, and games for kids and families to enjoy. Be sure to check out the Family Stage, where you’ll find juggling, magic, storytelling, and more that everyone will love.
  • Cultural Cooking Arena: A feast for the eyes (and stomach): Food brings us together, and nowhere is that truer than in the Cultural Cooking Arena. Watch youth chefs from across Surrey compete in cooking showdowns on Saturday, or learn a few tricks from celebrity chefs preparing traditional and modern cultural dishes live on stage on Sunday.
