Events Description
Canoe Cultures presents the Tatus Festival, a two-day festival of Indigenous music, arts and culture as the featured exhibit on August 29th and 30th, 2025 in the Festival Park area of the PNE Fairgrounds.
The Tatus Festival will showcase 127 Indigenous artists with performances on the Festival Stage, including headliners Crystal Shawanda and George Leach. The celebration also features Indigenous food trucks and a large Indigenous art and craft marketplace.
Included in the Tatus Festival is two days of live music at Festival Park’s Freedom Mobile Stage, featuring performances by Sakanwee Baker, JB the First Lady, Patrick Calihou, Hayley Wallis, Bitterly Divine, V’Ni Dansi, and more.
Canoe Cultures also presents cultural demonstrations and a showcase of Indigenous arts and culture with over 50 Indigenous artisans selling their art, from August 16 to September 1, 2025
