The Last Resort is a unique and unforgettable immersive show that will leave you breathless. Take a one-of-a-kind journey through purgatory paradise and explore themes of change, choice, mortality, growth, and disco. Audience members interact with their fates directly, and guests are invited to choose their level of participation, denoted by a coloured lei placed around their necks as they’re welcomed into the Hereafter.
This theatrical experience is imagined by the award-winning mind behind such Vancouver-based immersive shows as ‘Slumber Here’, ‘Alice in Glitterland’, and ‘The Neverland Night Circus’, alongside a team of professional artists, writers, dancers, actors, magicians, jugglers, costumers, and themed entertainment designers.
The experience leads audience members through an exploration of death and the process of self-actualization as seen through the eyes of guests of a tropical party resort in the early 1970s. The story unfolds through an awe-inspiring blend of sensual choreography, vintage exotica soundtrack, three themed bars with cocktails crafted just for The Last Resort, and several rooms of lushly-detailed atmosphere.
Every stay at The Last Resort is a unique experience, as every guest is encouraged to explore, observe, follow and interact with the resort staff as they please.
