For Wu lyf, Reformation began without ceremony in irregular jam sessions held at bound & infinity, an esoteric bookshop perched crowlike above the revelry of Manchester’s infamous tib st.
It was here—in the liminal space between the cerebral and the carnal— that tib st. Tabernacle was conceived: a simmering crucible of mythic imagination – a pirate utopia that raids consensus reality and disappears before it can be captured, mapped, or sold.
A sprawling eleven-minute rite of a song, it rejects permanence and possession, continually evolving through the rise and fall of collective catharsis towards a harrowing finale where the boundaries between the congregation dissolve into the democracy of trance.
Where once Wu lyf embodied the restless energy of youthful defiance, they now channel something more refined— an enduring flame tempered by the humbling of time.
