Events Description
The Pacific Rim Whale Festival is an annual event celebrating the return of Pacific Grey Whales to the West coast of Vancouver Island on their Northern migration route. The week-long festival hosts a number of fun events throughout Tofino, Ucluelet, and the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.
Featured events include our Parade of Whales and Wonder, our coveted Chowder Chowdown, two days of family fun at our Maritime Kids Days, and our Baleen Bash closing party. There is something for everyone the whole week!

Event Admission.
The Pacific Rim Whale Festival has two types of events – Button Events & Ticketed Events.
Button Events:
Purchase a button at your first event to access the many button events throughout the festival week. $10 adult 19+ / $5 children & concessions.
Ticketed Events:
These events require the purchase of a ticket (electronic or physical) to attend. Links to purchase these tickets are available in the event descriptions below. These events have limited capacity, so don’t wait to purchase!
