At the Children’s Museum, Louis Riel Day is an opportunity to celebrate French Canadian Culture. Join us on February 20 from 11:00AM to 3:00PM for our Franco-Fun Day festivities, which include crafts, activities, story times, special guests, and more!
Event Highlights
- A display of French-Canadian artifacts from the Manitoba Museum
- A Louis Riel story and collage craft in celebration of Louis Riel’s Metis heritage with guest programmers from the Louis Riel Institute at 11:00AM – 12:00PM and 1:00PM – 2:00PM
- An interactive dance performance with l‘Ensemble Folklorique de la Riviere Rouge from 12:00PM – 12:45PM
- French story times at 12:00PM and 2:00PM
- Sweet Canadian treats sponsored by the Original Pancake House from 12:00PM – 2:00PM (or while supplies last!)
- Special crafts and activities in the galleries
