Rumpelstiltskin has mischievously brought Grimm’s fairy tales to life in a quaint 19th century town… but they might be more sinister than they seem. Solve his riddles to return the fairy tale characters to their stories and perhaps we can have a happy ending after all! Run into your favourite or most feared fairy tale characters throughout the museum, take part in the riddle quest, learn about Grimm fairy tales and historic folklore, and participate in family-friendly crafts and activities along the way.
There is something for everyone at Fright at the Museum!
Who is it for?
There are some scary elements to the event that may be frightening for younger audiences, though there are plenty of family-friendly activities for young children. For audiences that don’t want to be scared, we have glow bracelets that they can wear (volunteers are trained to not scare anyone wearing them).
