175th anniversary of the Grey Nuns’ arrival (St Boniface Museum) – To celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Grey Nuns’ arrival, le Musée de Saint-Boniface Museum will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday June 21st. Admission fees will be waived for the entire day. Come visit the renewed Grey Nuns exhibit, refreshed to mark this special occasion!
Fort Gibraltar Escape – The Hudson’s Bay Company (HBC) has captured Fort Gibraltar from the North West Company (NWC) and taken the bourgeois and the NWC brigades of voyageurs hostage. The HBC has agreed to free the bourgeois and voyageurs ONLY if they complete a series of mental and physical challenge within the prescribed time limit…
Movies under the stars: Le Grand Bain (Sink or Swim) – Come enjoy a free outside screening in a beautiful garden! “Sink or Swim” (2018) tells the story of a group of 40-something men who decide to form a synchronized swimming team. With English subtitles. Admission is free and there will be a beer garden!
“La Saint-Jean-Baptiste” at Whittier Park – Join us at Whittier Park for La Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Canada’s annual French celebration! Several activities and shows for all ages will take place throughout the day.
“Le 100 NONS” night – Le 100 NONS, Manitoba’s francophone music organization, invites you to discover new, emerging french artists on Stella’s patio.
Mardi Jazz on the patio – For the last “Mardi Jazz” night of the year, the CCFM has invited special guests to share the stage! Marie-José Dandeneau (bass) will lead the band, with Jeremy Penner (violin), David Larocque (guitar) and Cody Iwashick (drums). Guests include Ariane Jean, Suzanne Kennelly and Pierre Freynet!
Tout pour la musique – Francophone artists from all corners of Canada will take over St.Boniface’s Fort Gibraltar for one exquisite night of music, on June 27th, 2019.
Le Rire Zone – reated in 2017, “Le Rire Zone” presents Manitoban stand-up comedians.
The Grove Saint Boniface Célèbre Festival – Join us June 29th from 11am till 10pm for Live Music, Dance, Beer Gardens, Food Trucks, Merchants Market, Youth Activities and so much more in Coronation Park for Saint Boniface Celebre 2019. Come celebrate all things amazing about our community! Daytime activities run from 11am till 6pm with live concert featuring Justin Lacroix and Jeremy and the Delicious Hounds. 11am – 9pm
