This is the fist museum in Canada dedicated to the collection, preservation and presentation of clothing and textiles.
There are over 35000 artifacts in the Museum collection.

Costume Museum of Canada celebrates fashion, culture and history. The gallery depicts how climate, occuplation, economy, religion, gender has influenced the evolution of every-day costumes. The Museum also preserves the costumes of people of Canada over the centuries.
This is a 100% volunteer-run organization.
When to visit Costume Museum of Canada?
Hours: Thursdays from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. -3:00 p.m.
First Friday of the month from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
