There are over 35000 artifacts in the Museum collection.

Costume Museum of Canada celebrates fashion, culture and history. The gallery depicts how climate, occuplation, economy, religion, gender has influenced the evolution of every-day costumes. The Museum also preserves the costumes of people of Canada over the centuries.
Although the museum is closed to the public, it holds Pop-up shows, fashion shows as well as various educational programs and travelling exhibits.
