Designated in 1961 as the St. Malo Provincial Park, this is a popular place attracting visitors with its calm waters and the natural setting. There are several recreational opportunities. Whether you come here for water sports or beach volleyball, hiking or picnicking, the park has ample recreational facitilies for entertainment. The trails lined Aspens, oaks provide a refreshing change from the hustle bustle of the city. Pick wild berries, see a wild rose, or spot the Snowshoe hare.

Fun Activities

Activities include canoeing, broad sailing, picnicking, children’s programs, biking, hiking, birding, boating, skiing, mini golf (ticketed) and swimming. Playground, beach volleyball courts, beach, boat launch.

St Malo Triathlon is held during June. Celebrate winter in the Park with St-Malo Festival of Friends.

Near the Park: In July, see the St-Pierre-Jolys Frog Follies.

Within an hour’s drive from the Park is the Mennonite Heritage Village that also hosts the annual entertainment-filled Pioneer Days. The City of Steinbach hosts Pioneer Day Parade in August.
