Edmonton
Edmonton will host a new electronic music festival, DSTRKT25, in the heart of the ICE District.
Organized by OEG Sports & Entertainment and Boodang Music Canada, the event will take place at Fan Park @ ICE District on September 5 and 6, featuring multiple stages, immersive production, and a diverse lineup of performers.
Headlining the festival are Grammy-winning producer Kaytranada and bass music heavyweight Excision. Kaytranada, known for his genre-blending sets that fuse house, hip-hop, and R&B, has become a fixture at major international festivals. EXCISION, one of the most recognized names in bass music, is known for his intense sound and elaborate stage production.
Joining the headliners are artists including UK drum & bass act Hedex, melodic bass duo Armnhmr, electronic project Deathpact, and Norwegian house duo Kream.
DSTRKT25 will offer both indoor and outdoor stages, along with food vendors and interactive installations set against the downtown skyline. Organizers say the event is designed to attract both long-time electronic music fans and newcomers, offering a wide range of styles within the genre.
