If you want to switch it up and skate on ice over a Lake, then get to Spray Lake in Holland Marsh, in the heart of King Township.
In summer, Spray Lake Watersports and Activity Centre is a mecca for watersports enthusiasts and you can enjoy fishing, wake surfing and waterskiing.
When old man winter arrives, the Spray Lake Watersports owners groom the frozen lake surface into a 2 km frozen ice skating trail. Visitors can glide over the lake enjoying the views of snow-laden forests surrounding the lake.
If you rather play hockey, there are three shinny pads on the Lake you can play on.
The skating trail and skinny pads are set to open to the public this Saturday, January 15th.
