Events Description

The most popular time of year to ride the train is the fall, when all the trees through the scenic Beeton Creek Valley display their changing colours.

Enjoy the Conductor’s friendly and informative commentary highlighting the history of the line, the train, and how the railways shaped our country.

Excursions depart from the South Simcoe Railway station in downtown Tottenham, 20km west of Highway 400 on Highway 9, just 50 minutes north of Toronto. Across the road is a conservation park with swimming, camping and picnicing, and friendly local shops and restaurants are just a block away.

Although these are priced as regular excursions, we do strongly recommend advance reservations since these excursions sell out quickly.
