Theodore Too, the 65-foot tugboat which is a reproduction of the original TV character Theodore Tugboat, will turn into an Airbnb stay as part of a new OMG! Category launch on the vacation stays booking website.

Built in Nova Scotia, Theodore Too moved to Hamilton Habour last year and now travels to various Ontario and US Ports for festivals and other special events. Theodore Too is also an ambassador for Swim Drink Fish, collecting water samples from various harbours in the Great Lakes to check for water quality.
Now, for the first time in its 22 years of existence, Theodore TOO along with Captain Noah and the crew will welcome those who want to stay overnight on the boat through Airbnb.
As per the news release, the red-capped tugboat’s cozy cabin is decorated with iconic Canadiana and nods to Theodore’s roots in Halifax.

As part of the stay, guests will be taken on a cruise of Hamilton Harbour and treated to local eats from Hamilton.
Theodore Too’s Captain Noah said in a news release, “Our crew’s lucky to spend the summer cruising the Great Lakes aboard the friendliest tugboat in Canada. I’m so excited Theodore TOO fans have the chance to take part in his adventures! As your Host, I can’t wait to show you around from bow to stern, and take you on your own Big Harbour adventure for a night.”
Reservations will open on Monday, Aug. 29 at 12 p.m. ET. for two individual one-night stays on September 10, 2022 and September 11, 2022.
The reservations will cost $22 per night, a nod to Theodore TOO’s 22 years. Airbnb says these one-time, one-night stays are not a contest and the guests will be selected on a first-come, first serve basis.
Airbnb will also make a one-time donation to The Sunshine Foundation of Canada, a national charity that fulfills dreams for children and youth living with severe physical disabilities.
Theodore Too will be in Toronto on September 17th & 18th as part of the Redpath Waterfront Festival.

Guests will embark on a cruise of Hamilton Harbour with some of Theodore TOO’s finest crew members, learning all about the Bay. The Captain and his crew will treat guests to a few square meals.
Once the sun sets over the horizon, guests can lounge on the deck for a movie night under the stars, surrounded by the harbour and plenty of snacks – with saltwater taffy being a must. Bunk up in a cozy cabin fit for a Harbormaster, decorated with iconic Canadiana and nods to Theodore’s roots in Halifax.
