Brudenell River Provincial Park

 

If you are looking for lots to do while camping, look no further than Brudenell River Provincial Park. The largest provincial park in eastern PEI offers two 18-hole championship golf courses, a marina and a river beach. Bring the RV for comfortable camping, or set up camp in a wooded clearing tent site.

Red Point Provincial Park

Gather up the family for summer fun packed with camping, swimming, and outdoor fun at Red Point Provincial Park. Just 10 minutes from Souris is a beautiful white sand beach and supervised ocean swimming. Red Point is a popular spot, so it can be crowded at times.

Cabot Beach Provincial Park

Take the family camping at Cabot Beach Provincial Park, which is the largest park in PEI. This delightful park is famous for its red sand beach, a wonderful beach with calm surf, and a quiet campground. Photographers will appreciate the beauty of the park with its red cliffs topped with tall pine trees and shimmering blue water.

Panmure Island Provincial Park

Go on an island adventure this summer and relax on one of PEI’s most popular white-sand beaches. Panmure Island is surrounded by St. Mary’s Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Wake to the sounds of the ocean and the smell of the sea everyone morning here. The park host the annual Abegweit Pow Wow in the middle of August.

Cedar Dunes Provincial Park

Known for its iconic red sand dunes and the black and white striped lighthouse, Cedar Dune Provincial Park is a must-visit. Enjoy nature at its finest by setting camp at one of the 80 sites. During the summer on nice days, the floating wheelchair will be out from 10 am to 6 pm.

Northumberland Provincial Park

Close by to the Woods Island Ferry terminal, the Northumberland Provincial Park is an excellent base camp to explore the island. The park is home to an iconic red sand beach that has supervised swimming in the summer months. The park is a popular spot with families because it has multiple playgrounds, a basketball court, and a volleyball net.

Jacques Cartier Provincial Park

 

Wake up to the soothing sounds of the ocean and enjoy your breakfast with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Take a dip in the Gulf of St. Lawrence or relax on the floating wheelchair from 10 am to 6 pm on nice summer days. This provincial park is located in Alberton, so you are close to great restaurants like Alberton Bakery & Deli.

Linkletter Provincial Park

Fun beach adventures await you close to Summerside at Linkletter Provincial Park. Being so close to the city, you have the best of camping with the comforts of home. Take a hike to take in the scenic views of the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Prince Edward Island National Park

Best known for being the closest campground to the Cavendish Music Festival, Cavendish Campground is more than just a place to set up camp since the campground has many recreational activities. The oceanfront park offers unserviced sites for those looking to rough it or skip setting up camp in the park by staying in the oTENKik.

A quieter option in Prince Edward National Park is Stanhope Campground, which is close to the Gulf Shore Way and Stanhope Beach. Glampers will just love the oTENTik option that lets them skip setting up camp and get straight to the outdoor summer fun.

Ben’s Lake Nature Camping

If you want to have a non-traditional camping experience, then Ben’s Lake Nature Camping is just the place for you. This park has a place for everyone to stay with 30 unserviced sites (10 nature tenting sites), 15 RV-Camper sites, or a small chalet. The park is known for its fantastic trout fishing, so you can catch your own dinner.
