Blues & Roots Radio International Song Contest Winner Soulfully Intros 10th Album ‘Latchford’ at Meaford Hall!***
The Andre Bisson Band is an award winning 7 piece powerhouse ensemble with an eclectic group of instruments, an energetic rhythm section, chugging guitar groove, heavenly sweet strings and Memphis-style horn section. With his ingenuity as a songwriter and an extensive list of influences, Andre and this dynamic band owns a reputation for world class musical expression by each album and performance. Since forming this band 2005, Andre has traveled countless miles to bring his music to audiences in Canada, US, UK, and Europe. Their shows are the highly anticipated events of the live music calendar and is nothing short of a moving musical experience. Whether on stage or in the studio, Andre brings together these arrangements and creates a musical story that becomes the soundtrack for his lyrics. Fresh from winning the 2022 Blues & Roots Radio International Song of the Year Contest and recently being nominated for the 2024 Maple Blues award for Songwriter of the Year, Bisson is obviously turning more and more of the heads he’s worked very hard to reach throughout his very busy, 20-plus-year career. He confidently and joyfully leads a band and music which follow a more philosophical and broad-minded thread than your typical bunch of blues songs. It’s rhythm and blues for the thinking man and woman who also love to groove!
