Food Bank Booster Pay What You Can Concert featuring TREMOLOCO turns the music up for the community on Sunday, July 20th at 3pm, at the Brentwood Sportsplex (1520B Northmount Dr NW).
The first of Brentwood’s two Food Bank Booster concert’s this summer will have TREMOLOCO’s tunes heard throughout the community this weekend. The second annual concert series that brings together music lovers benefits the the Brentwood Little Food Library and The Veterans Association Food Bank. Volunteers will be collecting food donations onsite — a simple and powerful way to give back directly to our northwest neighbours.
TREMOLOCO
Hailing from California and Alberta, this genre-blending band brings a spicy mix of Tex-Mex, Gulf Coast grooves, Americana, and roots rock — a unique sound they lovingly call MexifolkAmericana. Their music flows effortlessly between English and Spanish, blending rich harmonies, accordion-driven rhythms, and heartfelt storytelling within the songs.
This weekend’s concert is one of two Calgary stops to catch Tremoloco live before they head overseas on their upcoming international tour! Those that miss the Food Bank Booster can catch them August 26th at the new Blues Can, 2002 16th Ave NW.

Food Bank Booster / Pay What You Can – Tickets are recommended and are available for purchase for $25 online here or ‘pay what you can’ donations can be made at the door upon arrival. Concert-goers are asked to check their pantry for the Food Banks as the Little Food Library and the Veterans Food Bank need the community support this summer.

Food Bank Booster – Wonderful if you can buy a ticket $25 and check the pantry for a few cans. But absolutely fine to shake the piggy bank to support the band and bring a can if you can. With people away, the Little Food Library and the Veterans Food Bank need our support.
