Events Description
Experience the artistry of Quatuor Magenta, a rising star among Europe’s elite string quartets. Founded in 2021, this Paris-based ensemble has quickly captivated audiences across France and beyond, earning accolades for their technical discipline, elegant sound, and dynamic performances. Praised for their remarkable balance and spontaneity, the quartet brings a fresh and compelling voice to classical and contemporary repertoire alike.
Their 2025 program features a blend of evocative works, from Dinuk Wijeratne’s haunting Two Pop Songs on Antique Poems and Grażyna Bacewicz’s vibrant String Quartet No. 1 to a world premiere commission by Raphaël Merlin. The concert closes with Fanny Mendelssohn’s richly expressive String Quartet in E-flat major, offering a powerful journey through past and present musical landscapes.
