Sing, Swing, Spring!

Sit back and enjoy the sound of big band music at this special year-end concert, wrapping up another great year of Hamilton All Star Jazz performances! Hamilton All Star Jazz has served as an enrichment opportunity for the region’s top young musicians for over 40 years and has shared the stage with such notable Canadian jazz artists as Rob McConnell, Guido Basso, Alex Dean, David Braid, Pat LaBarbera, and the great Phil Nimmons, to name a few.

The evening will include performances by the Rising Stars Jazz Band, our youngest group featuring musicians from ages 13-18, under the direction of Nora Nolan, the All Star Jazz Band, our signature group that has been going strong for over 40 years featuring musicians from ages 15-25, under the direction of Allan Gaumond, and the After Hours Jazz Band, our newest group for the young-at-heart musician, under the direction of Mike Malone.
