Step into the most curious tea party of the summer — whimsical pastries, playful potions, and a tower of Wonderland delights….. This summer, follow the White Rabbit to Per’So’Na as we host a delightfully peculiar tea party inspired by the whimsical world of Wonderland.
The Mad Hatter Tea is a afternoon tea experience where classic tradition meets playful imagination. Guests are invited to discover a tower of curious savouries, imaginative patisserie, and enchanting confections designed to transport you into the Hatter’s eccentric world — one delicious bite at a time…..
The experience begins with The Warm Scone Box, featuring house-baked Lemon Blueberry and Vanilla Honey scones served warm with clotted cream, blackberry jam, and orange marmalade….
From there, guests ascend through three curious acts of the Mad Hatter’s table…. ….
ACT I — Savoury Curiosities introduces a collection of refined bites including a delicate Smoked Salmon Roulade, the March Hare’s Miso Carrot Tart with chèvre mousse, a rich Mushroom & Gruyère Quichette, and our golden Coronation Egg with curried marigold yolk…. …
ACT II — The Hatter’s Table reveals playful patisserie inspired by Wonderland itself: meet The Blue Caterpillar, a vibrant blueberry bavaroise resting on Breton sablé; discover the whimsical “Eat Me” Toadstool of black cherry pavlova and chocolate ganache; and enjoy the regal Queen of Hearts, a hand-painted shortbread filled with raspberry preserve….
Finally, the sweets reach their most curious form in ACT III — Curious Confections. Sip the effervescent Drink Me Potion with lychee, strawberry and boba pearls, indulge in the perfectly peculiar “We Are All Mad Here” Battenberg with cassis jam and marzipan, and finish with The Mad Hatter’s Pocket Watch, a delicate macaron filled with vanilla buttercream — just in time for tea at six….
Expect vibrant colours, imaginative presentations, and whimsical creations that practically demand to be photographed. This seasonal tea experience is equal parts pastry theatre, elegant tea service, and playful escape….
This curious tea party appears for a limited time this summer, and seating fills quickly. Reservations are highly recommended before the Hatter’s table disappears again…. After all… it’s always tea time in Wonderland.
