Kingston WritersFest (KWF) makes a triumphant return for its 17th season in the heart of the city’s vibrant downtown. Known as the festival for readers and writers, KWF 2025 celebrates the written word and the joy of story in all its forms.
Authors such as Booker nominated Maria Reva, Giller award-winner Madeleine Thien, Canisia Lubrin, winner of the 2025 Carol Shields Prize, perennial Festival favourite Carol Off, and local authors Sarah Yi-Mei Tsiang, Otoniya J. Okot Bitek and Merilyn Simonds will bring their unique voices and writing styles to KWF’s often sold-out crowds.
