“The truth is rarely pure and never simple.” ― Oscar Wilde
What is in a name? If the name is “Earnest” … a LOT!
The plot follows two men, John Worthing and Algernon Moncrieff,, who both lead double lives using the name “Ernest” to escape social obligations, leading to romantic entanglements, scandalous and comedic misunderstandings.
The Importance of Being Earnest explores themes of identity, deception, and social expectations, all set against the backdrop of Victorian England, written by one of the greatest authors and playwrights – Oscar Wilde.
Come see a new hilarious retelling of the classic comedy play by Playful Fox Productions.
