Events Description

Canada Day in Wilmot is a children-friendly family-focused single-day festival organized by a volunteer association of community members celebrating the shared values of this country and its diverse communities – friendship, integrity, hard work, compassion, respect, and inclusion.

The celebrations begin with a Sunrise Opening Ceremony with Crowshield Lodge and Breakfast in the park. Take in shows by the Ultimutts, The Orangemen, and children’s performer Eric Traplin.

To cap off Canada Day in Wilmot, a Fireworks Spectacular begins at 9:30pm will light up the sky with a memorable professional pyrotechnic display to make the day complete.

Crow Shield Lodge will be leading the surise ceremony on July 1st starting at 6am.
Forward together looks like walking side by side, celebrating our shared responsibility to community, family, and friendship.
Following the opening sunrise ceremony, join us for breakfast in the park to continue celebrating friendship and community building.
Wilmot Ecumenical Working Group volunteers will also be onsite selling calenders throughout the day.
All proceeds from the sales of these 2024 calendars support Crow Sheild and their land-based healing services for all nations.
