Wilmot’s 2026 Canada Day celebration will take place on Wednesday, July 1 at Norm Hill Park (251 Jacob St., New Hamburg). Admission and parking are free!

7 am | Indigenous sunrise ceremony
Start the day in a meaningful way by participating in an Indigenous sunrise ceremony, presented in partnership with the Wilmot Indigenous Relations Interfaith Working Group and Crow Shield Lodge.
Join us as we kick off the event.
- New Hamburg Legion colour guard
- Performance of “O Canada” by The Community Players and the New Hamburg Concert Band
- Cake cutting hosted by members of Wilmot Township Council
- Bike Parade for Children, Youth and Families. Please register here
