OPG Winter Festival of Lights

The most enchanting of Niagara Falls attractions, annual Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights is Canada’s largest FREE outdoor light festival. Experience the spectacular displays with 3 million lights along the Niagara Parkway, Dufferin Islands and across Niagara Falls.

You can drive through some of the Festival’s illumination route of over 8 kilometres in length and travels through the Niagara Parks, Dufferin Islands and into the surrounding tourist areas.

To celebrate the beauty of the winter season and the annual Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights, a special illumination light show, “Sparkling Winter Lights,” has been produced by the Niagara Falls Illumination Board. The display captures winter’s magic with gentle snowfalls, the aurora borealis gliding over snowy tundra, blizzards, and frosted falls.

Visit the Misty Lodge, located in Queen Victoria Park. Celebrate the season, take selfies with the Misty Kids mascots and enjoy a free treat.

Laser Light Spectacular

Experience a dazzling new addition to the Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights. The Laser Light Spectacular is a free, family-friendly show that lights up the night sky with bursts of colour, music, and motion!

Set against the magical glow of millions of twinkling lights, the show transforms Niagara Falls into a kaleidoscope of colour and sound. Watch as vivid laser beams dance through the winter air, synchronized to an energetic soundtrack that captures the spirit of the season. It’s the perfect way to make your winter nights shine even brighter!
