Events Description
Join us for a cozy afternoon filled with live music, and good vibes as we unwind “At the End of a Down East Day”!
As the working day ends on the shore, the songs and stories begin. Come join Atlantic Voices as we make a little night music, East-Coast style! “At the End of a Down East Day” features everything from traditional lullabies and wistful evening airs to lively kitchen-party tunes made for dancing through the night.
The program includes songs by great Atlantic Canadian musicians such as Allister MacGillivray, The Ennis Sisters, The Fables, Robbie Smith, and Susan Crowe, as well as works by celebrated Canadian choral composers such as Elise Letourneau, Stuart Calvert, and Mark Sirett.
Doors open at 2:15 pm for pre-concert entertainment by the Fumblin’ Fingers. Concert 3:00 pm, with reception to follow.
