Big Branch Festival

A festival of Balfolk music and dancing, held at Fraser Lake Camp near Bancroft, Ontario in the Canadian Shield.

The 7th annual Big Branch Festival features Balfolk music, song, and dance workshops, lots of jamming, and folk dancing late into the night to music by amazing bands from France and Canada.

Balfolk is popular social dancing from Western Europe, a recent revival of traditional, mostly French, folk dances. Some partner dances, some group dances, some long chain dances – they are all fun and easy to learn, you don’t need any prior dance experience.

Sliding scale ticket price for adults, includes a bunk in a cabin.

Youth tickets (age 13-17) $150
Kids tickets (age 5-12) $50
Kids 4 and under are free
