The Regina German Club is pleased to announce its return event called “Oktoberfest.”
This event will kick off on September 29th and continuing on September 30th. Friday night will have a traditional meal (Auftakt) and end with the Mr. and Ms. Oktoberfest contest. The winners of the contest will be gifted by donations from our local communities. Saturday the doors will open at 2pm to a Family day portion.
The street will be closed allowing the public to come see entertainment, Bouncy House, Mini Petting Zoo, Balloon Man, Face Painting, Corn on Cob eating contest, drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and food. Saturday evening will conclude with a Keg Tapping Ceremony, Team Challenges, Traditional Performances, and conclude with “Corner Stone Band.”

Evening Portion

It’s time to celebrate the biggest cultural festival in the world, all right here in Regina.

 

Pull out the Dirndl and Lederhosen, polish your dancing shoes, and make sure you have room for a beer or two.
Join us at 6 pm and grab yourself a delicious selection of German food from the kitchenette in the main hall.
Want to sit outside? No problem, we’ll have the Biergarten open for you.
But make sure to join us at 7 pm for the Grand Entrance and Welcome fanfare. Don’t miss Das Volle Lederpaket and their Schuhplattler performance..
We’ll tap a keg and then the dance floor will be open with the Cornerstone band rocking the house.
