Wanuskewin’s Annual National Indigenous Peoples Day Celebrations is back for 2025!
Visit our many stations throughout the park for guided and self-guided tours happening throughout the day. Meet us at this traditional gathering place, home to all Nations of the Northern Prairies over the last 6400 years.
Event Hours 9:30-4
9:45 a.m. – Opening Ceremony
10:00 a.m. – all stations running!
– Indigenous Artisan Market running
– Dancers and Presentations throughout the day
– indoor and outdoor drop-in activity stations all day (see details in post)
11:00 a.m. – Restaurant Opens
3:30 p.m. – Community Celebration to end the day
4:00 p.m. – event ends
