Enjoy a full day of discovery at Fort York. Young bakers can make buttery “jumbles” in a paid historic kitchen workshop, then visit the garrison schoolroom to practice slate writing and learn how soldiers’ children were taught. Catch a flintlock musket demonstration and join a discussion about how weapon technology shaped past conflicts. Hourly guided tours reveal Fort York’s rich history and the stories of the people who once lived within its walls.
