Join us for our red cherry themed mid-summer morning party!! ❤️🍒🌶️ This is our 2.0, check out our first event recap on @coffeecacaorave where we had 150 awesome people kick off summer 2025 with us!
This event takes place on the traditional, ancestral, unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples, and beyond just a land acknowledgement, we are deeply grateful to the care takers of this land and for our ability to be hosting events here, and would like to do more to show that with our actions. As an event, we intended to be in solidarity with Indigenous communities by connecting with Indigenous vendors and community members. However, we are imperfect and make mistakes, and are learning how to do this better for the first time, we definitely did not put the time & care that this process needed into our outreach initially. We also acknowledge that many of the wellness practices and products are inherently colonial and part of the capitalization of a wellness culture practiced by Indigenous communities for thousands of years, and various practices that come from other cultures (eg. Cacao ceremonies from South America, sound healing from various parts of the world, spiritual & astrology teachings from Eastern religions) are also featured here, and practiced by white settlers. Ultimately, we are majority white and white-passing settlers organizing and attending this event with intentions to create a safe, welcoming, sober wellness party for the community, and we can always do better, so please feel free to let us know if you have any suggestions.
