Events Description
The Vancouver Queer Festival is a vibrant space for queer arts, culture, and community. It showcases dynamic and thought-provoking films from British Columbian filmmakers as well as other Canadian and international directors and storytellers.
The Festival curates films which contextualize and celebrate queer lives and experiences and prioritize foregrounding diverse identities in our communities, including narratives from trans people, queer people of colour, and Indigenous people. It is Western Canada’s largest queer arts event..

Please note that all online streaming is limited to the province of British Columbia, and availability is subject to our agreements with artists and distributors and their preferences for how they’d like their work to be viewed.
Tickets
We offer sliding scale pricing for individual tickets from as low as $5 to up to $21 per ticket. All ticket prices are inclusive of taxes and fees and include a non-voting membership. We offer the same range of ticket prices for both in-person and online screenings, allowing you the flexibility to pay what you can.

Standard $14 – Standard pricing
Access $10 – Students, Youth, Seniors, Low-income
Access+ $5 – Deeper discount
Opening and Closing Night Parties are free to attend with tickets to the screenings that precede them.
Festival Pass
The all-access Festival Pass gives you access to all film screenings and events in our program, online and in-person. There are two price points to choose from, $145 and $175. An Early Bird Discount price of $140 is available until July 11, 2023!
