The Boreal Shores Art Tour is a FREE, road-trip worthy, self-guided art tour featuring individual artists and galleries at locations scattered throughout the beautiful and diverse Boreal forest and shore regions of Eastern Manitoba.
From the eastern shores of Lake Winnipeg through the Winnipeg River System to the Whiteshell Provincial Park, the Tour showcases artists from diverse communities throughout the region who love to explore all aspects of visual art. Visit the artists along the tour stops and learn about their art practice, materials, and tools they use to create their art and see the environment that supports their creativity.
As you drive the Tour, you will explore the beautiful natural environment of the Boreal Shores area of southeastern Manitoba that provides inspiration for these artists. Stop for lunch or coffee at one (or more) of the fabulous restaurants along the Tour route. The Tour brochure is your resource for information on the artists and maps to plan your route.
