Enjoy a walk along the Cathedral of Pinesat Fanshawe Conservation Area. Do note that the yellow gates across the entrance road (by the Fanshawe Dam) will be closed. The trails can be accessed by parking in any one of the 3 parking lots located south of the yellow gate.
Explore Sharon’s Creek Conservation Area
Escape to Sharon’s Creek Conservation Area on a cold winter day. This natural landscape is enjoyed by visitors in winter for its scenic beauty, hiking trails, and birding opportunities.

A picnic in winter may sound unusual, but believe me, this is a really fun way to enjoy winter. So dress warm, pack hot food and drink, and head to your favourite picnic spot.
Explore Komoka Provincial Park
Located along the scenic Thames River, the Komoka Provincial Park with its hills and valleys transforms into a gorgeous outdoor space in winter.
