Go on a Scenic Road Trip

Head out for a fun day or two to explore the route between the city of Regina and the beautiful Qu’Appelle Valley. Carved out by water from glaciers some 14,000 years ago, the Valley is home to three of the province’s smaller but very popular provincial parks – Crooked Lake, Echo Valley, and Katepwa Point. Along this route, the drive time is only just under four hours, with a total of just under 300 kilometers, but add in the fun and special things to see along the way and you end up creating a great trip out of the city for a weekend or more with a destination of lush, green valleys and scenic beauty. Fish at the Last Mountain Lake

 

Located just half an hour north of Regina, the Last Mountain Lake is the largest naturally occurring body of water in the southern part of the province. This large lake will have plenty of private spots for you to try your hand in fishing even during the peak season.

A Day Out in Regina Beach

Regina Beach is a unique place well known for its beach and recreational boating and watersports. The boat launch to get on the lake is located right by the Regina Beach Recreation Site.
