Top 20 Friendliest Towns and Cities in Canada

If you are looking to travel to small towns and cities in Canada after the pandemic restrictions are lifted, then Expedia, one of the world’s largest full-service travel sites, has released the list of 20 friendliest towns and cities across Canada.

According to the news release, the rankings were compiled from Expedia.ca traveller reviews which included using keywords from user reviews like “friendly,” friendliest,” “amiable” and other word associations and related linguistic connections from January 2019 to December 2020.

The list includes 4 places each from Ontario, 3 from Alberta, 5 from British Columbia, 3 from Quebec, 2 from Nova Scotia, 1 each from New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward Island.

Thunder Bay should not be on this list as one of the friendliest cities that is a complete lie, I know far too many victims of bullying as a youth and now as an adult. Not to mention all the news articles I've read about covid where people literally wish death upon each other and spew negativity daily. Drivers on the road are terribly rude and inconsiderate and people in grocery stores are bottom feeding thieves looking to get shit for free or tear the head off you if you can't sell them beer. Let's not mention the crackheads who steal everything you own if they can, keep you up all night with blasting music, and the jobsites that have entrenched favoritism and if you don't fit into their mold they will find a way to get real rude and even rid you of a job. Think of how many people complain about issues but don't actually do something but then criticize you when you do, or the city who funds name brand corporations to do social work/activism like clean up and fails to support and volunteer initiatives unless a councilors name is attached to it..what about all the racism , you know like 4 years of fighting for justice for Barbara Ketner and her family, or the native people isolated from their supports who end up murdering or stabbing their own relatives. This city is rotten to it's core, there are good people but they are up against a tide of evil in this city that is far greater then them. But hey people will continue to be like "hey look at me everyone, im defending my hometown whoot whoot!" Get a grip.

I implore you to visit the city of Thunder Bay and then reconsider your 8th listing on Canada's Friendliest Towns & Cities. I suppose it's a friendly place if you appear to be light skinned. But placing a city listed as the Murder Capital of Canada while being investigated as Canada's most racist police force, I beg you to reconsider.
