Canadian Museum for Human Rights

Canadian Museum for Human Rights will reopen on June 17 to the public.
The museum is also making a number of changes in order to follow public health guidelines, including providing hand sanitizer at numerous locations, enhanced cleaning procedures of public spaces, and signs encouraging physical distancing. Visitors are encouraged to wear masks.

Visitors are asked to self-screen using the Manitoba Health COVID-19 Screening Tool.

Main changes to the museum operations due to COVID-19 include:
  • Most exhibits are open. However, few attractions – including the Israel Asper Tower of Hope and touch screens/hands-on interactives features in galleries – will be closed.
  • A few high-touch exhibits will be closed
  • No guided tours
  • ERA Bistro will be closed
  • Timed ticketing is being used to manage the number of visitors at any one time.
