Events Description
Celebrate Canada Day in North Dumfries. While we gather to celebrate the values Canadians continuously aspire to, this is also a time to remember the past and commit to working for a brighter future for all. On July 1st we invite the community to come together to celebrate friendship, respect, community, and family.
This year, the event will be held at Cowan Park, which is located behind the North Dumfries Community Complex.
Pre-fireworks entertainment:
6:00-9:30 p.m. – Bouncy Castle and Top Shot Interactive Hockey Game
6:30-7:15 p.m. – The BarryO Kidshow
7:30-9:45 p.m. – Electric Crush
Food trucks (Crystal’s Fries, Ish & Chips, Hitched Coffee) will be in attendance for all your snacking needs.
The fireworks will be set off around 9:45 p.m. by the North Dumfries Fire Department.
Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets to for this free community celebration.
